Brown lacewings (family Hemerobiidae)
Like green lacewings, some brown lacewings can be identified using a decent hand-lens while living but a higher proportion may require sight of the tip of an abdomen. However, even with those that can be identified from characters visible without manipulating the insect, details like the number of radial vein branches or the presence/absence of a recurrent humeral vein can be impossible to see in any but the very best quality photographs, so observers are advised to retain specimens until they have identified them rather than assuming an ID will be possible from a photo.
