Zyginidia scutellaris

Described at the British Bugs website as, "An extremely common leafhopper, which is often abundant in rough grassland". In that case, it was high time it made itself known to me. This one came to light in an ex-arable meadow. The abdomen is mostly black which shows through the translucent wings. This small leafhopper was just under 2.8mm long.
