Aleothrips intermedius
I found this by sweeping in an ex-arable field that's about to undergo heathland restoration. I'm not often brave enough to tackle thrips but this one looked so striking I couldn't resist. There are several similar Aleothrips species but details of the wing and antennae seem to be enough to clinch the ID of this one.
