Pale Seedhead Moth Ptocheuusa paupella

Formerly given the vernacular name Light Fleabane Neb. This species used to be rare in Norfolk but has become more numerous since 2017 and especially since 2025 (see Norfolk Moths).

This is a species I have been keeping an eye out for for ages, especially in areas where there's lots of Fleabane. I wasn't particularly expecting it in my garden so was delighted to find one here, caught overnight in my moth trap.
