Marbled Clover Heliothis viriplaca

Until recently Marbled Clovers were largely restricted to the Brecks in Norfolk. There were a few records from NW Norfolk and the coast but elsewhere just a very thin scattering of records. Then in 2020 it seemed like everyone was trapping them - new dots appeared on the map all over the county. I was trapping every night during this period but disappointing it missed me out! Although not at the same levels as in 2020, widespread records continued in subsequent years and at last one turned up in my trap in 2023.
