Large Birch Dot Ectoedemia occultella
Formerly given the vernacular name Large Birch Pigmy.
I've seen leaf-mines of this species on all three of the annual Norfolk Moth Survey leaf-mine days that I've attended and following one of these I mangaged to rear through one adult.

Both of the above mines were occupied but I'm not sure which one of them it was that I reared this adult from.

Another mine.
Large Birch Dot Ectoedemia occultella leaf-mine, Wendling Beck Project (Norfolk, UK), 25th October 2025
The first adults I found as adults, as opposed to rearing them through from mines, were these two. Both were found by sweeping - the female was in Bracken under birch and the male was in pine next to birch.
