Orange-spotted Miner Chrysoesthia sexguttella
Formerly given the vernacular name Six-spot Crest.
A distinctive species but quite uncommon in Norfolk - the nearest previous record was about 10 miles away.

2022 was evidently a very good year for this species and in the autumn, a short distance away from the above adult, I discovered about 100 leaf-mines on Fat Hen. They all seemed to be vacated.
