Coastal Buff Agonopterix yeatiana
Although this species is most often recorded at the coast it is not exclusively a coastal species. Formerly given the vernacular name Coastal Flat-body.
This one came to light and was the first I'd caught in Norfolk. The white spots distal to the large dark blotch on the forewing were very indistinct. I suspected its identity but wasn't completely sure so checked the genitalia.

My only previous record was netted at dusk on a Cornish clifftop. It may not have been strictly necessary to dissect this one to confirm its identity but I was on holiday with minimal references so retained it for checking at home.
