Water Cricket Velia caprai

At a high point of the A894 the road reached the bottom of the snowline and my stop at a parking bay surrounded by mossy heath and large patches of snow was targeting Snow Fleas. No such luck, but I noticed lots (20+) of water crickets zipping around on the surface of the puddles. They were wary so I was unable to catch any, but hoped I would be able to identify them from my photos. At home in Norfolk I think caprai is the only species, or at least the only common one, but up here both caprai and saulii are possible. Some of the photos appear to show triangular dark marks on the connexivum and that appears to point to caprai, though on a few photos the markings look more rectangular. Apparently saulii is less gregarious and prefers unvegetated areas, so this probably favours caprai too. Some appeared to be copulating pairs (unless there's some other reason why one should climb on another).
