Empria tridens
This Empria found on lavendar in my garden proved a challenge to identify but I'm reasonably happy it must be tridens (though always welcome corrections). It had white spots on tergites 2 to 6 (small on 6) and the saw matched tridens. However the clypeus shape wasn't quite as shown in the key and this seemed to be a better match for liturata, but the 8th segment of the antenna was more than three times the length of the third segment and it had some whitish on the tegulae which seems to rule out liturata. The clypeus was difficult to observe (and impossible to photograph) in situ so I attempted to remove it - in the photo you can see that I damaged it slightly in the process but the tear hasn't really changed the shape of it.
