Ringed Orange Longtail Phylidorea ferruginea
This came to light and was keyed using the Stubbs BENHS book. The ends of the femora were clearly dark, more so than the key implies ("at most a bit dusky at the extreme apex") but much less obviously black ringed than photos of the similar Phylidorea longicornis show. That unlikely species (I don't think it occurs in East Anglia) was further eliminated by the lack of markings on the wings (apart from the stigma) and the dusted grey head. Its wing was 9.6mm long.

This came to light the same night as the one above, at a slightly different site. The ID was straightforward having just examined the one above.
