Boreoclytocerus ocellaris (or Clytocerus ocellaris)


Swept off Hazel growing beside a dyke, I retained two of these in the hope that one would be a male, knowing that identification of this family often depends on male genitalia. Sadly both appear to be females so the identification is not 100% certain. However, they keyed to genus Boreoclytocerus and it seems that among this genus only ocellaris is likely.
