Vine Weevil Otiorhynchus sulcatus

Also known as Black Vine Weevil.

I was under the impression that these are pretty unmistakeable but in the process of reviewing my old beetle records and specimens I realised that there are in fact other Otiorhynchus species that look fairly similar. Most of the following weren't keyed out properly, but I think they all still stand as being identifiable as sulcatus. Please tell me if you disagree.

This one was keyed as it was in such a disgusting state I didn't have confidence from its general appearance that it really was this species. I'm not sure what it had been rolling in, but I found it hanging from a tap when I went to brush my teeth... maybe it knew it needed a clean.
