Far and away the largest and most diverse family of sawflies, so for convenience here I will split it into its subfamilies.

Subfamily Selandriinae

includes genera Aneugmenus, Dolerus (including former Loderus), Selandria and Stromboceros

Subfamily Heterarthrinae

includes genus Heterarthrus

Subfamily Blennocampinae

includes genera Allantus, Apethymus, Caliroa, Claremontia, Empria, Eutomostethus, Fenusa, Halidamia, Metallus, Profenusa and Tomostethus

Note that genus Athalia, formerly variously treated as part of subfamily Blennocampinae or its own subfamily Athaliinae, is now moved to its own family, Athaliidae.

Subfamily Tenthredininae

includes genera Aglaostigma, Eriocampa, Macrophya, Pachyprotasis, Rhogogaster, Tenthredo and Tenthredopsis

Subfamily Nematinae

includes genera Cladius, Dineura, Euura, Hemichroa, Mesoneura and Pristiphorus
