Little Snipefly Chrysopilus asiliformis

This attractive little fly was found in my garden moth trap and proved rather straightforward to identify. Although the femora and tibia were both yellow, the tibia were distinctly darker than the femora so I had to look carefully to see this character. The fly was 5.6mm long.
