Richardson's Cackling Goose Branta hutchinsii hutchinsii
This seems to be the Cackling Goose form that turns up most frequently in the wild in the UK, usually with either Barnacle Geese or Pink-footed Geese. There have also been a number of records of birds appearing on their own or with feral geese and these are often assumed to be escaped birds - this may be the case but it is entirely plausible that at least some are wild birds too.

This bird was with feral Canada Geese so widely assumed to be an escapee. That may well have been the case, but you never know!
