Mottled Duck Anas fulvigula

Two subspecies of Mottled Duck are currently recognised, although these are probably not sufficiently distinct to enable individuals to be confidently identified in the field other than on range. Subspecies maculosa occurs between Louisiana and Mexico while the nominate fulvigula occurs in Florida. Introduced birds elsewhere in the eastern United States are believed to be maculosa.

I've seen this species in Florida, so these should be the nominate form.
