Blue-winged Teal Spatula discors
This species was formerly placed in the genus Anas.
Although wild vagrants of this species appears in the UK fairly regularly, all of my photos are either of wild birds in North America or captive birds in the UK.

At the time I wasn't convinced whether this was a pure Blue-winged Teal or a hybrid with Cinnamon Teal. I don't recall what it was about it that made me think it might be a hybrid, but looking at the photos now I can't see any compelling reason to think it might be (although female hybrids may be very hard to detect so you never know).
