Apple Fruit Weevil Tatianaerhynchites aequatus
Although both the vernacular name suggest an association with apple, this species is also found on Hawthorn as well as other Rosaceous trees and shrubs.
This was beaten from Rowan. I found another in the same tree later in the same month but I don't seem to have any photos of the second one.
