Soronia grisea

My first record of this apparently scarce species was in a pheremone lure trap for Red-belted Clearwing, though I suspect it was the coloured plastic top of the trap that attracted it, or it went in by accident, rather than being attracted to the pheremone.

Despite its scarcity I secured another four records the following year, the first three of which came to light in my garden moth trap. I haven't had one in my moth trap since though (writing this in January 2025).
