Tanner Beetle Prionus coriarius
Friends in the village texted me with a picture and a video of two large beetles they'd found one day. One was in their bedroom in the morning and the other flew into their conservatory in the evening. They looked like Tanner Beetles, a massive species with only a few records in Norfolk, so I let them know and they asked if I wanted to see one if they got any more. The following evening another (or perhaps one of the same) entered their conservatory and I got a call, popping up to see and photograph it the next morning.
