Phloeotribus rhododactylus
The AIDGAP families key got me to Scolytidae (the bark beetles) which is now treated as a subfamily (Scolytinae) within Curculionidae. I then used Duff to key it to species. With a length of 1.8 mm this wasn't the easiest beetle to identify simply because the bits of it were so tiny they were quite hard to see. But all things considered it keyed out pretty straightforwardly.
