Notaris acridulus
When I found this in my garden moth trap I didn't have a key to confirm the ID but, presumably by picture-matching, I did arrive at this species. I retained the weevil so that I could check the ID when I got a key and eventually got round to doing so using both the Duff and Hackston keys in 2026. The only slight issue was that I couldn't make out a scale tuft two thirds from base on elytral interval 3, but it wasn't in great shape, rather muddy and I suspect a bit worn, so I'm not too worried about this as everything else seems to fit. It was only about 3.5mm long so near the bottom end of the size range of this the smallest beetle in its genus.
