Ischnopterapion virens

Sometimes given the vernacular name White Clover Weevil, although that seems to me to invite confusion with the White Clover Seed Weevil Protapion fulvipes.

This came to light and I keyed it using Duff. There were one or two places (e.g. the rear of one of the side intervals) where there seemed to be two rows of hairs in an interval but for most of the elytra there was clearly only a single row of hairs through the intervals. There were a small number of longish scale-like hairs on the gena and fore coxa but these weren't nearly as clear on the gena as illustrated for Eutrichapion. On the fore coxa they were restricted to the front face, not the underneath. I did check both options just in case they were worn, but the alternative option led to Betulapion, photos of which show a different-looking beetle (e.g. lacking the strong metallic blue on the elytra).
