Harpalus latus

This was taken relatively soon after I'd started beetling and I've not found the species since then. The pale side margins to the pronotum aren't easy to see in my photos which, when looking back on them with a few more years' experience, prompted me to wonder whehter the old identification was correct, however on the top views you can see that the explanate margin in the basal half is orange on the upper surface (presumably only on the upper surface as it's very hard to see on the side view photo, even on the original). Judging from photos of the species at respected sites online there is some variation in the extent of the pale side margin on this species.
