Catops fuliginosus

This came to light and had been lurking among my Scraptiidae specimens but when I examined it properly it quickly became clear that it was not in that family. I was a bit confused at the genus key as there was a pretty distinct line at what I think was the frontoclypeal suture but I couldn't see an apical fringe of setae on the mid and hind tibia. One way led to Choleva and the other to Catops, but if there was any doubt up to that point it was clear once I looked at the aedeagus. I didn't think it keyed to fuliginosus easily as the broadest point of the pronotum seemed to be just behind the middle but the genitalia pointed to fuliginosus.
