Badister bullatus

This turned up in my moth trap. After I took these photos the beetle walked round the back of the eggtray and out of sight, but when I turned the eggtray over to retrieve the beetle for closer examination it was nowhere to be seen. Fortunately it appears to be a straightforward species to identify from photos, the pattern of red and black on the elytra (particularly the black on and behind the scutellum) helps eliminate Badister unipustulatus and the uniformly pale first antennal segment rules out Badister meridionalis).
