Shiny-vented Sharp-tail Bee Coelioxys inermis

This bee appeared in my pheremone lure trap which was set with a lure for Spruce Seed Moth Cydia strobilella. I suspect it was attracted to the yellow plastic lid rather than the pheremone lure itself. It was immediately clear from its unusual shape that it was a species I was not familiar with and quickly narrowed down to the Sharp-tail Bees Coelioxys. It was keyed to species using Falk's guide.
