Troxochrus scabriculus
This was in a pitfall trap (in propylene glycol, so no live photos) along a beetle bank in an arable field. I showed the pedipalps photos to ObsIdentify to get a starting point and compared with diagrams for the suggested species at the Spiders of Europe website (araneae.nmbe.ch). ObsIdentify suggested Tiso vagans for the first attempt but the diagrams did not seem to match so I tried again. Troxochrus scabriculus was then suggested and this seems to match perfectly. Later in the year eDNA sampling from the same beetle bank also detected this species.

This one was in the same group of pitfall traps as the one above but between processing them I had acquired a copy of Roberts so was able to compare the head shape in side profile and the pedipalps with the diagrams there.
