Redhead Aythya americana

An extremely rare visitor to the UK from North America. I saw the first for Britain in Nottinghamshire in 1996 but that was before I had a suitable camera. Since then I've seen them in California and British Columbia, but too distantly for photos. So the only photos I have at the moment are these of a captive bird.
