Eriophyes pteridis
A gall-causer on Bracken Pteridium.
I think it was Graham Moates who spotted this unusual deformed growth of Bracken. We didn't identify it in the field but looking at the galls book I believe it is a gall caused by the mite Eriophyes pteridis, but with all the caveats that go with identifying galls without actually examining the mites that cause them.
